A retrospective amendment, which comes into effect from July 1, 2017, debars entities, such as commercial real estate companies from claiming ITC on construction costs for their rental buildings.

The complainant has also sought the registration of an FIR against Baldi under Section 13(1) and (2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
Taking serious cognizance of this, municipal commissioner Manisha Khatri instructed the officials concerned to immediately address the grievances and resolve all the pending issues within a week.
